This is a food web of what other types of animals or plants play a key role with the African Bush Elephant. In this food web there are nine main things that are part of the African Bush Elephants food web. So lets start with the sun. The sun is a Producer, and it helps the leaves, bark, grass, and the fruit. The leaves, bark, grass, and fruit are the main foods that the African Bush Elephant eats. All of those are also Producers, because the only thing that helps produce it is the sun. Next on the food web we have a beetle. The beetle is a Secondary Consumer, because it gets energy from both plants and animals, in other words the beetle is an Omnivore. It eats bark, leaves, and other small insects. The bird is also a Secondary Consumer/Omnivore, because it eats worms and fruit. Then there is the African Bush Elephant. It is the Tertiary Consumer, because it is the top level predator(there is only 1 Tertiary Consumer in most food webs). The elephant is a herbivore, because it eats leaves, bark, grass, and fruit. Finally the worm is the Decomposer, because everything finally gets composed, so everything goes to the worm. So that is my Food Web on the African Bush Elephant.
